School Dining

At Carnforth High School, we understand how important a good meal can be during the school day to ensure effective learning. Our canteen is staffed by a highly skilled catering manager and a team of cooks and catering staff. All main meals are produced in school as well as a wide range of fresh items prepared daily.

We are proud to offer free breakfast for all students from 08:00-08:55 every school day, ensuring that all of our students have the option to access a nutritious start to the day. Students will be able to chose from a selection of cereals, bagels, toast and porridge. This in run in partnership with the National School Breakfast Programme.

We have a pre-ordering system, Fusion, which all students and staff are able to access. This allows for meals to be ordered in advanced so students can collect their food quickly at the start of lunch and enjoy more time with friends and at our range of lunchtime clubs.

Parents and Carers are able to add credit to student lunch accounts via the School Gateway system. This means money doesn’t have to be sent into school and you can control what your child spends. It is possible to see what has been ordered each day using the School Gateway app and website.
